Product description
Designer: Norm Architects Country: Spain "Inspired by the modernist architecture and the unobstructed repetitive building techniques known from the mid century, the Chicago cabinet collection stands as a tribute to this particular architectural period. With its light and floating appearance the sideboard almost appears as a piece of modern architecture itself. The Chicago collection offers a rich choice of materials and finishes and wide functionality. The 360 degree design with continuous grain on the top, sides and back makes it the perfect piece for use against a wall or as a room divider. The elevated solid steel construction gives stability and structure while the floating wooden cabinet adds the spacial impression. The table top functioning as a floating roof with its extended eaves completes the minimalistic framework combining three simple natural materials, wood, steel and stone." Materials: - Natural oak or walnut veneered MDF or E1 board sideboard (low formaldehyde content) with 1 mm solid wood edges. Straight and polished edged MarbleTop. Thermo-lacquered steel structure. Glass or wooden doors. - Italiana Ferramenta fittings - Hafele led system. The internal lighting can switch on / off when one door is opened / closed OR when it is movement activated with the foot from the underneath of the sideboard metal frame.
