Designer: Poul Kjærholm
The PK24 chaise lounge chair stands out as perhaps the most recognizable chair in Fritz Hansen’s Poul Kjaerholm collection. Inspired by the Rococo period and the French chaise lounge, Kjaerholm used steel to support a curvy, flowing form. He labeled it the “Hammock Chair” to stress that it functions by suspending the body between two points.
Seat & Back: curved on a steel frame covered with hand-woven wicker or leather
Head cushion: leather with a counterweight of stainless steel
Frame: satin-brushed stainless steel
Both versions include a leather headrest
